We fly out of the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown airport. Our GPS address is 500 NW Richards Rd. Kansas City, MO 64116.
All of our prices are per flight. The price you pay allows for up to three passengers. The intro helicopter instruction flight is our only option that costs more when you add a passenger.
The tour flight time will be what you purchased. If you purchased the "15 minute tour," the length will be 15 minutes in the air. Loading and unloading takes five minutes or less. Custom flights will be timed accordingly to what was discussed during purchase.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled flight time. This gives us time to collect any paperwork needed for the flight. Often times we have a full schedule of flights back to back. It is easier on the helicopter to keep it running. If you show up late we must shutdown the helicopter and possibly delay your flight.
We fly all year round and offer day and night flight times. Call us and ask about our availability to schedule. We will fly any time within reason. We are busiest on the weekends and from Thanksgiving to early January while the Plaza lights are lit.
Yes! You may bring a camera and take pictures and video during the whole flight. We also offer to take photos of your group in front of the helicopter before hand. Feel free to tag us in your photos on Facebook and Instagram! #riversedgekc
Up to three passengers can go at once. Parties of four or more will have to schedule multiple flights.

Flights may be refunded in full within 60 days of purchase.
We want to offer the safest tour possible and create an enjoyable experience. Some times the weather does not give us acceptable flying conditions and we have to reschedule. We cannot fly in thunderstorms, snowstorms, or low visibility conditions. It is usually better to wait an hour, a day, or a week for nice flying conditions.
We are always checking the weather. If it looks as if your scheduled flight time will be affected by the weather conditions, we will try and give as much notice as possible to alter your flight time or cancel and reschedule for another day. The weather is very unpredictable and it is hard to have an accurate idea of what will happen more then three hours before your flight. No charge will be applied for a weather rescheduling.
